We are delighted that a CO₂-cutting project funded by Climate Care has won first prize in the Volvo Adventure 2005. The prize was won by the Ladysmith Enviro club in South Africa for a project carried out by five eco-conscious teenagers called 'Electrical Efficiency in our town'. The project is cutting CO₂ by promoting energy efficiency to their local community and schools and distributing 4,000 energy-saving light bulbs.
