A new report suggests that about a third of frequent flyers would be prepared to offset the CO2 emissions from their air travel.
In First Choice's 2005 Trends Report 'Responsible Tourism - who cares?', 28% of people who travel overseas said that they would be prespared to pay a small supplement on holiday flights, which would be invested to offset the environmental damage caused by flights. This figure rose to 31% among frequent flyers.
