It surveyed the science regarding aviation's impact on the climate, as well as the assumptions of type of aircraft, number of seats etc. Please note this includes a multiplier of 2 to account for additional impacts of burning fossil fuels at altitude. This is applied only to the Cruise Climb Descent element of the flight.
