A requirement for both the Clean Development Mechanism and for the Gold Standard is that there is a period of local and international stakeholder consultation prior to the project’s registration.

In line with this, we publish all new projects for stakeholder comment for a minimum of 60 days here.

Once projects have successfully completed the consultation period, projects will then be registered and begin generating emissions reductions.
