Did you know that the biggest environmental impact of your holiday will be the flight? Aeroplanes travel in the sensitive upper atmosphere and release a cocktail of greenhouse gas emissions which are a major contributor to global warming.
ClimateCare is an organisation which enables you, the traveller, to repair the damage that your air travel does to the climate. Your payment will fund projects that reduce emissions by the same amount as your share of the flight creates. ClimateCare funds projects such as renewable energy and reforestation which either reduce emissions at source or absorb CO2 from the atmosphere. You can find out more about some of ClimateCare's projects by clicking on the list on the links to the right.
ClimateCare comissions a third party report and monitoirng for each of its projects.
Just click on the Air Travel Calculator link to find out how much your flight adds to global warming and how little it costs to offset. You will be emailed a certificate within 5 minutes.
