Why is there no hybrid option?  Hybrids do not use a different fuel from conventional combustion engines, but use your breaking power to generate heat energy which is stored in a battery to be used when conditions permit (for example during city driving).  You are still using petrol to drive the vehicle, but the fuel economy should be better as you are using your breaking power too.  So all we need from you is the distance you’ve travelled, your fuel economy and fuel type to calculate the emissions.

To find out your vehicle fuel economy consult the log book or the manufacturer or use the following assumptions;

Petrol
A typical small car may have a fuel economy of 38 mpg
A typical medium car may have a fuel economy of 30 mpg
A typical large car may have a fuel economy of 22 mpg

Diesel
A typical small diesel car may have a fuel economy of 51mpg
A typical large diesel car may have a fuel economy of 31 mpg
